Shambhunath Institute of Engineering and Technology was set up by the UTTHAN, a world renowned N.G.O. in 2004 with an objective of imparting quality education in Engineering and Technology. The  aim  of   the   College  has  been  to  maintain  a  liaison  with  the industries on one hand and the premier engineering institutions of the region like the IIIT Allahabad, MNNIT, Allahabad, IERT Allahabad, JK Institute of Applied Physics (University of Allahabad, Allahabad), etc. on the other  SIET  has  been  developing  very  fast  since  its  commencement,  and  today  it  has  got  a  very commendable  infrastructure, which includes a well built campus, airy class -rooms, well equipped labs, and facilitated hostels for students.The  Ex- President Hon'ble Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Ex- Vice Chancellor of UPTU, Lucknow, Prof. Prem Vrat and many other high profile Ministers and dignitaries have visited and praised the college campus. Shambhunath Institute of Engineering & Technology is a part of Shambhunath Group of Institutions and managed by UTTHAN, NGO.
