ConfER-2011

The Series of National Conference on Education and Research (ConfER) is an initiative of CSI Division V (Education & Research). The first conference (ConfER-2008) was hosted by VIT University, Vellore, Tamil Nadu on the theme "ICT as the key Enabler for Innovation and Growth" during 27-29 March 2008. The second conference (ConfER-2009) was hosted by Rajgiri School of Engineering and Technology (RASET), Kochi, Kerala on the theme of "ICT for inclusive Development and Sustainable Growth", during 12-14 March 2009. The third Conference and (ConfER-2010) on the theme "Impact of Globalization and Privatization on meeting India's IT HR needs" was hosted by Jaypee Institute of Engineering and Technology (JIET), Guna during March 6-7, 2010.

Information Technology has deep and wide spread effect on all aspects of human life and specially, on the economy of nations. For growth and prosperity, intensive Industry-Institution interaction is must which can be very well facilitated and accelerated by Information Technology. In the above back drop, the forth national conference on education and research ConfER-2011 on the theme. “Information Technology: A Knowledge Platform for Industry-Institution Interaction” is being organized .
